This Privacy Policy explains how Tools Multiverse (“we”, “us”, “our”), a service operated by A.I.T. Multiverse Consulting Ltd, collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit toolsmultiverse.com (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws worldwide, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The data controller responsible for your personal data is A.I.T. Multiverse Consulting Ltd. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at tools@aitmultiverse.com.
2. Information we collect
Most of our tools run entirely in your browser, and the text, files and images you enter into them are processed locally and are not sent to or stored on our servers. We may collect limited information automatically, including: your IP address (often truncated/anonymised), browser and device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and approximate location at country level. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies used for analytics and advertising.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the Site, understand how it is used and improve it, display relevant advertising, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising), our legitimate interests (to run, secure and improve the Site), and legal obligation where required. You may withdraw consent at any time using the cookie banner or your browser settings.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential, analytics and advertising cookies. For full details and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies.
6. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use third-party advertising companies, including Google, to serve ads. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info. Third-party vendors’ use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies.
7. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Google Analytics collects aggregated, largely anonymised usage data. Learn more at the Google Privacy Policy.
8. Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links; if you click one and make a purchase we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
9. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share limited data with service providers who help us run the Site (such as Google for analytics and advertising), and where required by law. Under the CCPA/CPRA, certain advertising activities may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; California residents may opt out (see Section 11).
10. International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Your rights
EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email tools@aitmultiverse.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
12. Data retention
We retain automatically-collected data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.
13. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new revision date.
